When processing personal data, the controller shall act in accordance with the relevant legislation of the Slovak Republic and the legislation of the European Union and shall take the utmost care of the privacy of the data subjects and the protection of their personal data provided to it and processed by it.

Reasons for processing personal data

The processing of personal data provided by you is part of our business. Without the provision of your personal data and without processing it, we would not be able to provide the quality of service to the extent required and also to fulfil our obligation to our partners or other data subjects.

Basis for processing personal data

The current legislation allows the processing of personal data on the basis of law (i.e. without the data subject's consent) or on the basis of the data subject's consent. Processing personal data on the basis of law means that we can process your personal data for the purposes of carrying out our activities even without your consent. The basis for such processing of your personal data is the relevant legislation applicable to our activity (service). If there is no legal basis for processing personal data without your consent, we will only process your personal data on the basis of your consent.

For the purpose of distribution of the e-mail newsletter Športuj srdcom o. z. collects and processes the following personal data:

To subscribe, we use a so-called double opt-in, whereby you must first confirm your subscription to the newsletter by clicking on a link in the sent email so that your address cannot be subscribed to by a third party. If you receive the newsletter without your prior consent, it may have been forwarded to you by a known person. The newsletter always contains up-to-date information about upcoming events or satisfaction questionnaires.You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the end of each newsletter sent by email. Sport with Heart Ltd. will store the data until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The basis for the lawful processing of your personal data is the consent you have given.

2) For the event

In order to register for a sporting event, Sport by Heart Ltd. collects and processes the following personal data.

  • E-mail address
  • Name
  • Last name
  • Gender
  • Year of birth
  • Phone number
  • Insurance company

Your personal data will be stored on a storage device secured by two-factor authentication. We send out emails before, during and after the event. The emails contain useful information such as: preparation for the run, suitable equipment, weather conditions on the day of the event, timings, availability of services at the venue, directions, how to get to the event, and parking options around the event. Also unexpected urgent information or changes to the event. But also timed times from the run, diplomas or photos from the event.

Handling of personal data

The controller processes your personal data either manually or using electronic systems. The controller has taken all necessary and indispensable measures, not only of a technical but also of a personnel and control nature, to ensure the highest possible level of protection of your personal data.

Rights of the data subject

The person concerned has the right to:

  • request access to personal data concerning the data subject from the controller,
  • to rectify or erase or restrict the processing of personal data,
  • object to the processing of personal data
  • the non-transferability of personal data,
  • lodge a complaint or initiate proceedings with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection,
  • withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
